Creating Polish is the fourth book in the series Creative Writing Series, and is designed to help students appreciate the role of editing in making their creative writing stronger, clearer, and more professional. It explores both structural editing and word-level editing, and includes a useful 'Editing Checklist'.

Many of the principles discussed by the author are applicable to all genres of writing. While pupils would ideally apply the lessons to fiction they have created in response to the first three books, Creating Polish can be used independantly as ikt hyas exercises to demonstrate the major priciples in proofing and editing your own work.
This is great for pupils who want to enter writing competitions or submit their work for publication.
